Optical Brightener  (WET END)

LPWHITE BUL can be dispensed batch wise in the pulper or the mixing chest. If the mixture is thoroughly adequate with the furnish,LPWHITE BUL does not require diluting.

Application must be caution and not combined with either alum or cationic auxiliaries.

Required Amount:

LPWHITE BUL 1000-15,000 PPM on the dry weight of the furnish.

Fluorescent Whitening (SIZE PRESS)

LPWHITE BUL104. gives level whiteness when applied with the starches generally used at the size press. It can be used in combination with CMC, PVA and anionic or weak cationic synthetic sizing additives.

Required Amount:

LPWHITE BUL 1,000-15,000PPM in size press liquor. The required brightness can usually be obtained cost effectively by judicious splitting application of the FWA between the furnish and the size press.

OPTICAL BRIGHTENER (SURFACE COATING)

FWAs of the diamino stilbene tetrasulphonic acid derivative class do not have adequate affinity for coating pigments and synthetic latices based on copolymers of acrylic acid ester and butadiene styrene. To achieve the best effects with FWAs, cobinders are essential as carriers.

Required Amount:

LPWHITE BUL dosage is the same as Tinopal ABP liq.
